Hello Aspire! Students & Parents

Lessons/Classes will resume Monday Jan. 9th

We are so sorry that we could not start private lessons on Jan 3rd as previously planned.  Some of you may have heard that our home at First Baptist suffered severe water damage.  On Christmas Day, probably within 90 minutes of church service ending, a main water pipe to the sprinkler system burst on the 3rd floor and flooded all 3 floors of the education wing of the building.   ServPro has been there since Christmas Day working to dry the building out.  However, once they finish that next week, reconstruction begins.  The whole rebuild process could take 2 months, and due to health and safety regulations, we cannot be in the building during construction.

I want to let you know that although the building was damaged, as well as some replaceable items, that God blessed us with what looks to be full protection of Aspire!’s instruments and electronics.  We’re waiting until we can plug electronics in to give the 100%, but let me tell you, it could have been a total loss.

Aspire! has arrangements for alternative teaching spaces to use during the reconstruction of FBC.  Beech Street Christian Church has approved our use of their facility.  Beech St has hosted Aspire!’s TheatreWorks program for 2 years now.  They have a wonderful church.  The second alternative teaching space will be announced tomorrow evening (Sun. 1/8) once the church board makes final approval of our use of their building.
